Inspired by an arachnid he spotted in his backyard one afternoon, Banali created Black Widow in tribute to the friendly visitor. The original piece was crafted with Sumi ink on washi paper. Banali states, "As I work, I'm developing new disciplines where I let the ink pull in certain sections and use the fan to pull the ink to spread it where I want."

Measuring 40"x 30" on archival paper, there are a total of 7 in the edition. All are individually stamped with The Banali Estate stamp. Each is numbered and features the SceneFour initial. Work is shipped with Certificate of Authenticity.
