This collection of artwork, titled 'Symmetry Beyond Planck', is a career first for Mike Mangini. Crafted over the last year, Mangini is one of a highly select series of drumming pioneers building fine artwork from rhythm. Rhythmic Expressionism, this medium is intended to unfold over time as viewers live with the pieces in their homes and studios.

This work is designed to be vibrant, abstract and displays the distinct art form found within Mangini's rhythmic approach, from sound to sight.

Through this process, Mangini is working with drumsticks that light in a variety of ways much like a painter would use paint with oils or acrylics. His movements throughout the beats are similar to paintstrokes. Working with art team/publisher SceneFour, these elements are brought into a studio as color channels and movements are scrutinized meticulously to bring forth Mangini's intended visual for an extraordinary final image before it is laid to canvas.
