To simultaneously match identical rhythmic patterns on both the right and left side of the drumkit would be nearly impossible for most drummers, but not for Mangini who has crafted an approach that allows him to utilize the kit in a mirror-like way. With "Faceless Angel" the left and right side are each performing rhythms simultaneously that when captured for canvas, produce an angel silhouette.
