Soon to be a classic in the collection, Summertime is the only piece in the series that showcases the distinct image of Stephen’s drums and the firestorm that follows a sixty second performance. Though abstract in nature, you can see the drum monitors behind the kit. Summertime made a huge impact at the gallery preview of Stephen’s collection in Beverly Hills at the Andrew Weiss Gallery. Measuring 40” x 30”, there are a total of 10 drafts of Summertime only. Each is numbered and signed by Stephen Perkins.
